Energy Savings, Quality Construction and Security
Engineered for Energy Savings; Built for Durability and Safety
An exterior door contributes significantly to air leakage and heat transfer if it’s old, made of poor material, not properly installed or not properly air sealed.
Superior Energy Savings
All Long Doors are ENERGY STAR® qualified, a label that is only given to products that meet or exceed federal energy efficiency standards as defined by the U.S. EPA and the U.S. Department of Energy. We designed our doors with heavy-duty extruded thresholds with a 1 1/2″ thermal barrier riser that improves energy efficiency and will not warp or rot. And the corner seals help keep moisture, air and dirt out. Long Doors will help you save on heating and cooling costs making your home more comfortable year round.
Long Doors are constructed from exemplary materials for unparalleled performance. Our steel doors are made of hot-dipped, galvanized steel with a polyurethane core, which provides an R-value of 15. You can select a smooth or stainable finish to get the look of wood with the strength of metal.
Our wood frame doors are available with vinyl-coated aluminum jamb cladding and we use high-performance, heat resistant vinyl-clad trim warranted not to warp, crack or pull away from the door, even in direct-sun and high-temperature environments.
We’ve taken your security into account in the design and construction of our entry systems. Our door handles and locks are constructed of superior metal and our expert technicians make sure that your new door is custom designed to ensure the right fit, while being easy to open and close without infiltration. We focus on the strength and security of every door so you can focus on what’s really important. Your life.
