

Chief Executive Officer and President
John DePaola is Chief Executive Officer and President of Long Fence and Home, one of the largest installers of residential windows and home improvements in the Washington, DC, metropolitan marketplace.
After nearly a decade of experience in product development at Long Fence, Mr. Long asked Mr. DePaola to expand the brand by adding other home improvement products to the Long Fence lines. The two saw the market was in need of a trusted leader in other quality products for the home, and thus embarked on a new endeavor.
Working closely with Mr. Long and following his well-gathered advice and instructions, Mr. DePaola established a new product initiative: marketing, selling, installing and servicing replacement windows, siding and doors. Today, Mr. DePaola runs the entire operation, ensuring that all functions are working towards the company's ultimate goal: to service area homeowners with the highest quality and best value in replacement windows and doors, exterior siding and quality kitchen remodeling. He has been the president of Long Fence and Home since the company's inception in 1994, and now operates under the title of CEO.
Mr. DePaola holds a B.S. in Engineering Science from Loyola College in Maryland and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. He enjoys an occasional round of golf, exercising and cruising in his beloved convertible Mustang. He takes advantage of every opportunity to spend time with his family, travel new places and visit his family's beach home in Delaware.

Executive Officer at Long Fence and Home
Jill Long DePaola is Executive Officer at Long Fence and Home. With 15 years in the business, Mrs. DePaola focuses on managing the company's financial and marketing operations.
Since its start in 1994, Mrs. DePaola has been involved with building and implementing core business strategies for Long Fence and Home. With the guidance of her father, Mr. Robert Long, renowned in the fence industry for more than 65 years, Mrs. DePaola was encouraged to satisfy client needs with additional home improvement products.
While raising three children, she maintained a strong work-life balance and helped grow the company to serve thousands of clients each year. She holds a B.S. from Loyola College in Maryland and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. In her free time, Mrs. DePaola enjoys playing tennis and taking walks with the newest addition to their family: a rambunctious but charming Jack Russell Terrier named Tucker. She lives in Maryland with her husband, dog and two sons. She visits their daughter as much as possible who now lives and works in New York City.

General Manager of Products
Randy Marshalek is General Manager of Products at Long Fence and Home, where he directly manages the Directors of the Windows, Kitchens and Siding Divisions. He joined the team in 1998, as Regional Product Manager, and now coaches as many as 70 employees.
Mr. Marshalek is responsible for bringing the best possible value to Long Fence and Home's clients. To better serve clients, he makes important decisions between product manufactures and negotiates prices that will better serve clients' needs.
As General Manager of Products, Mr. Marshalek ensures all Product Specialists are up to speed on all product features and benefits. He monitors and motivates Product Managers and Specialists to excel above and beyond the immediate demands of their professional titles. He feels his job directly contributes to the growth and expansion of the company and the fulfillment of our clients.
"I help steer the ship in the right direction so our product specialists can provide the highest value in industry education," he said. Mr. Marshalek spends the weekends with his twin boys, Nicky and Corey. He loves the water and anything that comes with it, whether it's actively engaging in water sports or relaxing on the beach to the sound of waves. He currently lives in Chesapeake Beach, Md.

Director of the Windows Division
Claude Comegna is the Director of the Windows Division, the company's largest product line. With 10 years at the company, Mr. Comegna says the people make his job worthwhile.
"There is no one in the company who doesn't give their best every day. Our people really care about the quality of their work and their clients," he said.
Through his management, Mr. Comegna aims to live out his customer service philosophy of exceeding expectations and always delivering better than his best. One part of that delivery is cost efficiency.
"It's important to control costs and keep Long Fence and Home's quality window products at affordable prices for the consumer," he said. "When we do this, everybody wins.
In 2006, Mr. Comegna was awarded the Long Windows President's Club ring. He had a ring from another company on his finger, and it upset Mr. DePaola so much that he designed a Long Fence and Home ring so Mr. Comegna would take the other one off.
"The day Mr. Long himself put that ring on my finger was one of my proudest memories."
In his spare time, Mr. Comegna enjoys the company of his family in Frederick, Md.

Director of the Kitchen Division
John Stech is the Director of the Kitchen Division and joined Long Fence and Home in 1999. Along with the responsibility of training and managing his "team of superstars," it's important for Mr. Stech to build strong relationships with his team and his clients.
"My goal is to not only meet but exceed company goals by mentoring and coaching my team to achieve their own individual goals," Mr. Stech said. "Our division has strong potential to expand into several more offices and I look forward to recruiting and nurturing new talent who can meet the challenge. The better trained our people are, the better the experience for the client."
For Mr. Stech, the company culture is what makes Long Fence and Home a unique place. The company's core values and the openness of communication, which is felt throughout the company, create a highly supportive work environment.
"It's a very professional environment, which promotes corporate and personal growth," Mr. Stech said.
The company trip to Las Vegas is still one of his fondest memories and he enjoys the opportunity to travel and build relationships with others in the Long Fence and Home family through the company's sales award travel program. When he's not working or traveling, his family barbeques are a favorite event.

Virginia Regional Manager, Windows
Tony Head began working at Long Fence and Home in 2006, as Assistant Manager in Training.
Now, as the Virginia Regional Manager for Windows, Mr. Head is responsible for all client product investments and business operations in the Virginia region. Through managing and building his own team, Mr. Head has established a highly knowledgeable product specialist team. Additionally, Mr. Head won the prestigious Manager of the Year Award in 2009.
Mr. Head says he appreciates the company's commitment to excellence and high level of professionalism. When it comes to customer service, Mr. Head realizes that customers come to Long Fence and Home to help them maintain one of life's most important investments - their home.
"We do all we can to create a positive experience for each and every family we meet," he says. "We understand that their home is a valuable asset and they have placed their trust in us to improve that investment."
Mr. Head has lived in France, Germany and Japan, bringing a global perspective to his work. He attended both Howard University and National-Luis University. In his free time, he is an avid golfer, actor and writer. He currently lives in Herndon, Va.

Maryland Regional Manager, Windows
Andrew Brown joined Long Fence and Home in 2006, with a strong background in client services.
As Maryland Regional Manager for Windows, Mr. Brown motivates his team of product specialists and ensures that the company's clients receive the best experience possible. His favorite part of working at Long Fence and Home is the family atmosphere. "We have a wonderful team of dedicated people that makes for a tremendous work environment," he said.
Mr. Brown approaches each project with genuine care and enjoys helping clients realize the great potential for comfort and beauty within their homes. "To see the faces of my clients on the day their energy efficient windows and doors are installed is just priceless. It's all about the client."
Mr. Brown stands behind the Long Fence and Home brand and feels that the company's decision to stand behind its products gives clients the peace of mind they deserve when investing in their homes. "I could not promote something I don't believe in", says Mr. Brown. "I believe in our products and our service."
Mr. Brown attended Montgomery College. He enjoys cooking (ceviche is a favorite) and spending time with his large family. He lives in Damascus, MD with his wife, Samantha, their dog, Lambeau.

Sales Processing Manager
Grace Murtagh is the Sales Processing Manager at Long Fence and Home. She joined the team in December 2007 as a Sales Processing Specialist and quickly moved up through the ranks.
On a day-to-day basis, Mrs. Murtagh provides ongoing support for the Product Management Team. She works with Product Managers and Specialists to help them achieve both individual and company-wide sales goals. Her favorite part of working at Long Fence and Home is making sure the product specialists have the tools they need to serve the clients.
Since the sales processing department is responsible for contacting clients before the contract goes to installation, client interaction makes up a significant part of Ms. Murtagh's job. Thus, her customer service approach is simple but successful.
"We treat our clients as though they are part of the Long Fence and Home family-because they are. It's important for them to know we appreciate their business and they are being taken care of with the utmost importance."
Ms. Murtagh studied Business Management during her undergraduate career, and now lives in Maryland with her husband, Paul, daughter and two sons. She is a self-proclaimed soccer mom who enjoys cheering for her children in their many athletic endeavors.

Client Service Manager
Anna Johnson joined Long Fence and Home in June 2005 and immediately noticed the company's strong family feel. When she realized the CEO and Executive Officer knew their employees by name, she felt she had found a new home.
As Client Service Manager, Mrs. Johnson manages consumer and service oriented touch points throughout the business. On a daily basis, her main goal is to find a "YES" solution for every client concern and strongly believes in doing her job right the first time.
Mrs. Johnson coordinates the development and delivery of the company-wide policy and procedures handbook, which involves establishing and updating the company's standards to promote efficiency and spread knowledge to the Long Fence and Home employee and consumer.
One of her favorite Long Fence and Home memories includes her television debut in one of the company's kitchen commercials.
"The commercial was televised through the DC/Metro area. My friends and my previous employer thought I had launched a career doing television commercials!"
Mrs. Johnson holds a B.S. in Business Management from Nova University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She lives in Maryland and enjoys cooking, cross-country skiing and spending time at the ocean.

Installation Coordinator
Ridgeway Catlett began his work with Long Fence and Home in October 2001. As Installation Coordinator, Mr. Catlett works to develop strong positive work relationships with clients and crews. He is a problem solver and supports construction activities for multiple field installations at one time.
Mr. Catlett asserts that his coworkers are the best part of coming to work every day. As Installation Coordinator, he works to achieve win-win situations for all.
He is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and handling any challenges that may arise on a day-to-day basis. Overall, Mr. Catlett aims to promote a greater sense of understanding between clients, employees and all others involved with the organization.
"Every day, I make a fond new memory at this company," Mr. Catlett said. He enjoys taking time for leisurely walks and currently lives in Maryland.

Installation Project Manager
Noris Rivera started at Long Fence and Home in 1996. In her early years, Ms. Rivera focused on customer service relations within the installation department. Her day-to-day job involved the challenge of solving problems and finding quick solutions to ensure smooth business operations.
Ms. Rivera now holds the title of Installation Project Manager, overseeing product installation throughout the windows, doors, siding and gutters departments. She manages the entire process, including measuring orders, scheduling installation and ensuring job completion and client satisfaction.
She works on the philosophy that "the customer is always right" and is proud to work at a company where the high quality products and respected name align and speak to the overall quality of the Long Fence and Home business.
Ms. Rivera studied at the University of Puerto Rico and enjoys playing softball. She currently lives in Pasadena, Md.

Kitchen Installation Manager
Jerry Stephenson joined the Long Fence and Home team in 2006, when he began managing installations in the kitchen department. Since the beginning, the quality of Long Fence and Home's people, products, performance and service have made his job a rewarding one.
As Kitchen Installation Manager, Mr. Stephenson is in charge of reviewing material orders, coordinating installations and performing quality control inspections. He provides in-home service when his personal touch is necessary to get the job done. For Mr. Stephenson, the best part of the job is the people.
"The people I work with here are like a family," he said.
He enjoys meeting new clients each day and thrives in the challenge of making their expectations come to reality.
"Customer service is about organization," Mr. Stephenson said. "When we tear out a kitchen, the clock begins to tick. At Long Fence and Home, we make sure everything is prepared in advance and plan ahead for anything that may happen in the process."
Mr. Stephenson holds a M.S. in Geology from Western Washington University. In his free time, he enjoys working on his own home in Severna Park, Md. with his wife, AnnMarie. The couple's family recently expanded with a new litter of Gordon Setters puppies. Their little girl, Devin, will be attending her first dog show this year.

Quality Control Manager
Gene Broomell began working at Long Fence and Home in 1996. His product training began with siding and then expanded to include windows and doors. He spent many years learning about the company's products and educating clients on the products and services available from Long Fence and Home.
As the Quality Control Manager, Mr. Broomell's responsibilities now include managing pre-installation inspections and overseeing final measures on window and door installations. He also runs quality control inspections, provides support for his sales team and services installed projects. "Our clients have trusted us to do a project in their homes and our job is to exceed their expectations. I want to reward each customer for the trust they have placed in us."
Mr. Broomell says the company's commitment to both its employees and its clients stems from strong core values. "It's a commitment that shows up in the work environment, as well as the efforts made to provide our clients with quality products, installation, and service."
Mr. Broomell holds a B.S. in Management from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He lives in Crownsville, Md. with his wife, Debbie, in the house they built together in 1986. He enjoys working on his home and spending time with his four children and four grandchildren.
